General

Can I use FactoryOS in Hindi or Marathi?

The dashboard is in English. Your portal content (tagline, about, product descriptions) can be in any language — just type it in. AI generation works best in English but handles Hindi transliteration reasonably well.

Can I connect my own domain?

Yes — custom domains are available on Basic and Growth plans (not during the free trial). Go to Portal Editor → Domain. Add a CNAME record pointing to cname.vercel-dns.com. Takes 10–60 minutes to propagate. See Custom Domain setup →

Is my data secure?

Yes. All data is stored in Supabase (Mumbai region, India) with row-level security — completely isolated between accounts. Payments are processed by Razorpay — we never store card details.

What happens when my trial ends?

Your account moves to the Free plan (1 portal page, up to 20 leads/month, basic CRM). Your data is safe, and you can upgrade to Basic or Growth any time from Dashboard → Billing.

Can I export my leads?

CSV export is on the roadmap. For now, contact support and we'll export your data manually within 24 hours. Custom integrations are available on the Enterprise plan.

Can I add team members?

Yes. Invite from Dashboard → Settings → Team. Roles: Owner (full access) and Member (no billing access).

Can I have multiple portals?

Currently one portal per account. Multi-portal support (for group companies or product divisions) is on our Q2 2026 roadmap. Enterprise customers can request this manually.

What is the Content Hub?

Content Hub (Dashboard → Content) lets you generate AI-written LinkedIn posts and portal blog articles. Social posts + portal blog: Basic 20/month, Growth unlimited. Blog posts appear on your buyer portal under "Resources & Updates".

Troubleshooting

Portal shows 404

  1. Confirm your portal is published — Portal Editor → Publish → should show "Portal is Live" in green
  2. Check the URL: app.factoryos.co/p/your-slug
  3. If just published, wait 30 seconds and refresh (edge cache)

Leads not appearing in Inbox

  1. Confirm portal is published
  2. Submit a test inquiry from your portal in an incognito window
  3. Refresh the Leads Inbox — leads appear within 5 seconds of form submission
  4. If still not appearing, contact support with the email used in the test

Proposal email not received by client

  1. Ask the client to check their spam folder and whitelist [email protected]
  2. Use the Copy Link button and share the proposal link directly via WhatsApp as a fallback
  3. Check that the contact has a valid email address in the CRM

AI Generate failed

  1. Check your AI credit balance — Dashboard → Billing
  2. Top up with a 250 or 500 AI credit pack (Dashboard → Billing → Add-on Packs) or upgrade to Growth for 1,000 credits/month
  3. Try refreshing and generating again — occasionally a transient error

WhatsApp API webhook not verifying

  1. Copy the Webhook URL and Verify Token exactly from Dashboard → WhatsApp settings
  2. Paste the Webhook URL without any trailing slash
  3. Ensure your account status is Active (not Pending)
  4. Save your WhatsApp config first, then verify in Meta

Billing payment failed

  1. Razorpay: Try a different UPI app or use net banking as fallback
  2. Contact [email protected] — we can generate a manual payment link

Can't sign in

  1. Check you're using the correct email (the one you signed up with)
  2. OTP codes expire after 10 minutes — request a new one if it's been a while
  3. Enter all 8 digits — FactoryOS uses 8-digit codes
  4. Clear browser cache and cookies and try again
